Congressman Duncan Hunter's endorsement of Governor Huckabee
is helping to bring defense and border conservatives on board:
"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter...
"Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity."

I MIGHT vote for McCain - the jury is still out. I absolutely wouldn’t vote for McCain - Huckabee. Huckabee was Jimmy Carter on foreign policy and invidiously played religious identity politics. Despicable!

former U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson, former Congressman Asa Hutchinson and Jay Dickey That seems to be an awful lot of "former" officeholders in a state where Huckabee supposedly rebuilt the GOP.

Sorry, I have been to Arkansas.
I have driven on the roads built by political paybacks.
I have lived in Dallas under the bible belt buckle of the Southern Babtist.
Never will I vote for Huckabee. If that means voting for Ron Paul or that guy running down the street as a write in, I will do it.
There is no “Hope” from Arkansas.

I lived in Arkansas for 3 years during the Huckster’s reign.
He’s a backslidden Christian Socialist member of the Open Borders Lobby holding a “special” relationship with Amnesty supporting Tyson Foods.
The Arkansas State Budget increased 65% under the Huckster’s reign.
I’m never amazed though at how Conservatives can delude themselves into supporting traitors like the Huckster, one among many.

"Over the last 15 years, Mike Huckabee has improved and strengthened the Republican Party of Arkansas."
Zero statewide Republicans today. 1 Republican in Congress (down from half the delegation). Declining numbers in the legislature (down in the 20% range). This is absolute complete bovine scat. Huckster nearly killed the AR GOP and it will take years to recover from the damage.

Gee. That’s funny. Care to explain why the Arkansas Republican Assembly awarded 80% of their vote to Thompson, while Huck got 5%?
This article requires a willful suspension of disbelief. If I was a Huckabee supporter, I’d toss a squirrel into the ole popper and try to find some Beverly Hillbillies reruns on t.v.

I would not vote for
Nehemiah Scudder Huckabee, even if he were the only Theoweasel on the ballot, not even if he were endorsed by the Archbishop of Canterbury & L. Ron Paul.
No, not even if his apparent teacher, Jimmy Carter, endorsed him.
Not even if he promised to have Tom Daschle as his running mate, and Helen Thomas as his Press Secretary.
I WILL NOT VOTE FOR A DISHONEST DEMOCRAT! No; not even if they have an (R) after their name.

Nice post Kurt:
The last Conservative standing, and a Social Conservative at that...and people here are still swinging at him (lol). Quite simply amazing. Funny? In a sad sort of way I suppose. I’ve seen him viciously accused of being a social-conservative several times here at FR. Liberals hate Social Conservatives :)
