Local news says they’ve flown in trauma specialists from Augusta. 35 critically injured, 6-9 workers still missing.

They closed the Savannah River to ship traffic to search in case people had been blown into the river by the explosion.

Sounds very bad...they sent ambulances from all the surrounding counties, didn’t have enough in Savannah.

I used to go through mass disaster drills, but I’ve never seen so many ambulances in one place.

I’ve been on the phone all morning with my brother calling in.....checking up on different folks we know. A good friend that I knew from childhood used to work as an evening supervisor....so I was freaking.

She wasn’t there, she was at port distribution.
