Only problem is:
John McCain is not for securing our borders. Attacking suicidal terrorists overseas with our back door wide open is actually more dangerous than doing nothing at all.
John McCain is against torture and for bringing terrorists to the US from Gitmo and providing them with lawyers.
It's especially because of these last 2 points that I could never vote for the man not to mention all the other reasons.
I'm against torture, if the term is use to refer to actions that cause permanent injuries or other harm. On the other hand, from what I understand, waterboarding is part of the training for some U.S. personnel. To my mind, that makes it different from branding, amputation, bone-breaking, and other such methods.
“John McCain is not for securing our borders. Attacking suicidal terrorists overseas with our back door wide open is actually more dangerous than doing nothing at all.”
You are quite correct. If we’re going to leave our borders wide open, we should logically elect Hussein to sweet talk the Muslims. They’ll assume they’re already winning and perhaps leave us alone for a while.
It just amazes me when people use the borders against McCain and refuse to vote for him and look the other way when an Islamo takes over the WH.
