Agreed. In the Primary Hunter will still get my vote.

I would hope this is a move by Sen. Cornyn and others to unite and hold the GOP together. In holding the Party together maybe conservatives in Congress (Senate & House/RSC) can influence matters more in the coming years. I hope Cornyn continues to be one of the conservative lights in the Senate (Coburn, DeMint, Inhofe, Sessions to name just a few) and hold to the core values he's shown thus far while there. I don't believe he could adopt McCain's ways. Conservatives have always been in the minority and it will continue. Unfortunately.

I'm disappointed but I'm hoping there's a bigger agenda/issue here.
