That's a fine speech if you actually believe any of it. But you cannot believe anything this man says. He says he believes in Liberty, yet sponsored the biggest assault on our most fundamental freedom EVER! What freedom is more important than Freedom of Speech????

I hear you ... but Fred did the same thing ... and he is treated like a founding father around here (and was my choice as well).

Even Duncan Hunter voted for the huge entitlement expansion that is the prescription drug benefit. McCain was against it.

I actually agree with McCain that we need to "calm down" and think this through. I may end up not voting for McCain, but if I don't, it's not going to be because I'm peeved at him for past offenses.
