Nonsense.
There hasn’t been a conservative in the race since Fred quit.
Fred was never in the race....I really don’t think he ever had any intention of winning....sometimes I feel he was just in there as a favor to McCain to split the conservative vote....I agree with the orinial poster.
You mean Fred was running? I would never have known it.
Fred was never in the race.
Mitt is a conservative.
You can mock his "flip/flop" but, at least he flopped the right way.
Lots of people become MORE conservative as they age.
Mitt did.
McCain did not.
RIP, Mitt Romney 4 President Campaign.
No doubt about that, but the masses are asses and don’t bring any critical thinking into the mix. Vote your hormones, vote your faith, vote only your number 1 issue and this is what you get. The dems wanted McCain because he is the one they can beat easily, hell, all they have to do is insult him and he’ll go into a campaign killing, foaming at the mouth tirade. We need to fix the primary process so that it isn’t driven by polls, image, amount of money spent or how early you enter the campaign. The primarys are spread out and make it easy for fraud, manipulation and polling to drive results in subsequent primaries. One set national primary just before the conventions with a limitation on primary campaigning time and money spent and one, real debate opportunity. Make their policies and proposals for the country the focus and not how good they look on camera or how well they respond to BS pre-canned “debate” questions.
>>There hasnt been a conservative in the race since Fred quit.<<
Yup.
The problem is that the whole country is moving left. It is very near the time for conservatives to get out or take up arms.
My strategy is to perform the former relatively soon (next few years).
The Republicans proved to me, late in the last century, that they are clearly not our salvation. It wasn’t any one thing. It is a death of a thousand cuts. And the only thing that could turn this country back to conservative would be something MUCH worse than 911 or even Pearl Harbor.
Revelation 17 and 18 are looking more and more like they are referring to the US. And Revelation 18: 4,5 may be good advice.
Fred was no more conservative than anyone else in this race... and the fact he couldn’t get anyone to vote for him pretty much proves it.

There was one Caucus and two Primaries before Fred quit. That was his point.
I just wish Fred would have gotten in sooner and showed a little life and a little ambition.
