Why should anyone be blamed? Last I checked, we’re Americans and we can vote for whomever we choose. At least right now we can, not so sure about the future. I voted for Romney on Tuesday and now he’s done. He wasn’t my 1st or 2nd choice but I thought he was the best of what was left.

I’ve been a conservative republican my entire voting life and for the first time I don’t have a candidate to support (on either side).

So romney’s out. Deal with it. We’re going to have 4 to 8 years of a lib dem for President anyway and we’ll survive. We’re in for tough times and maybe that’s what we need for the masses to stop whining and start thinking about what’s best for this country. We survived Carter and Clinton (and a whole lot worse)and we’ll survive another Clinton or McCain. The MSM is an enemy of this country and all it holds dear. My parents knew that back in the 60s. We’ve become lazy, IMO. As for me and mine, we won’t roll over. I’m sure there are many here who feel the same. All this blaming and whining doesn’t help this country.

Actually I'm not blaming anybody. I was pointing out that there were many conservatives who were standing behind candidates that had long dropped out of the race instead of getting behind a Romney when there was the chance. The bottom line is... the only ones to blame are the candidates themselves. They are the ones who lost. It's up to them to gather supporters

I also disagree with the poster who is blaming Freepers for McCain's win. I was commenting on a particular statement he made in his post.
