Hardly,

Mitt’s been for the most part having to personally foot the bill for his campaign for a good while now.. after Sup Tues losses, his fund raising will be even less than before and mean even more of his own money to keep going in hopes of a turn around....

If he’s remotely as good of a businessman as his supporters claim he is, he realizes the odds of the return on his investments to this point grow smaller daily, and throwing good money after bad is never a great thing to do.

>> I want Mitt to stay in there and the Huckster to drop out. The Huckster never had a chance and he’s a LIBERAL. The race has always been between McCain and Mitt. <<

If Huckabee had followed your advice before Super Tuesday and dropped out, McCain would have wrapped up the nomination by now. There is no way Mitt was going to carry states in the deep south like Alabama if he was in a "two-man" race with McCain.

I agree with your assessment, but the fact is, unless Romney could get more than 90% of the remaining delegates, he can't win.

If people think they want McCain, give him to 'em. I'll sit this one out.

Fox News just reported this same news - that Romney will pull out of the race today. Whoever gave Fox this information said they had double and triple checked their source. FWIW.

It is virtually impossible for him to win the delegates required......the number is incredibly high. I don’t see how he can do it unless McCain drops out, which he won’t.

I won’t sit the race out but I will cast a write in ballot.

Put your TV on Fox.

I don’t trust Time or Halperin or Fox, but ultimately, by midnight, we will know if they are right or they are wrong.

I expected it would happen after Tuesday’s results. Mitt thanks for trying. I was behind you!

RE: those mocking the Time mag sources.

Guys, on some things the mainstream media can be wrong very easily.

On routine stories like this, it is almost always going to be true despite it coming from the MSM. There is not bias in calling sources to see what’s up that could twist the truth.

Probably he will be dropping out, which sucks.

Enjoy having the Global Warmerist on the campaign trail this summer ! At least he's not Romney!

You wanted everyone to vote for Huckabooboo to deny Romney, now you whine that you plan is a flop ?

It would be funny if many of us hadn’t already told you that was a sure losing strategy to ensure a McCain win.

I hate to say I told you so but ... I told you so.

I think Mitt should hold off on any decisions until after McCain melts down in front of CPAC.

And there goes my 3rd choice. Tancredo would have been #4.

This is getting ugly.

I can hold my nose and vote if I have to, but how do you keep from throwing up?

The delegate counts are still in flux, but last night I calculated that Romney would need 74% of all remaining delegates in order to win outright.

"Trust a Time Magazine blog?"

Nope, but you can trust Byron York at NRO and he's saying the same thing.

OH FGS - Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, sham on me.

At 71, McAmnesty will learn to love conservatives.

You’re pissing in the wind there, pal.
