Well I have reviewed the options for myself, if McCain is the candidate and have the following choices:
1. I can vote for McCain, Obama or Hillary, or sit this one out.
2. If I sit this one out then I’m hoping that Obama or Hillary don’t screw things up too badly, just badly enough so that a more conservative candidate can win in 2012.
3. If I vote for McCain I’m hoping he plays more to the conservative side of his party than he has in the past.
The choices are not easy. I’d rather have a reincarnation of RR, but that isn’t going to happen. I’d vote for another Bush term over any of these people. He has the right stuff even if his poll numbers are terrible and the media treats him with contempt.
I believe that McCain could beat either Democrat if he rallies all elements of the GOP. He has a better record than either Democrat for a general election.
So I say we all need to think logically and not emotionally. The presidency in times like these is too important. McCain it has to be or we have conservative chaos.
So I say we all need to think logically and not emotionally.
i am no McCain fan and voted for Fred in NH but in the general i will vote for McCain if he is the nominee here is why:
McCain ACU lifetime rank 82 2006 65
Hill 9 and 12
Bama 8 and 8

Seems to me that anyway you slice it or dice it, the MSM wins in 2008.
We may be bidding Rush, Hannity, Beck, Levin and Laura a fond adieu come 2009 when McCain or Hillary show their vindictive venom as CIC bringing back the Fairness Act!
