For Mr. McCain, the four themes he needs to beat constantly to unite and energize the GOP are: Cut government. Secure our borders. Win the war. Redeem our culture.

Problem is he is dead wrong on at least 3 of those items and has proved it with his votes.>p?Latest I heard was he now wants to "deport 2 million criminal aliens", well they are ALL (12 million +) criminal ILLEGAL aliens.

The sad thing is, that McCain’s ego won’t let him believe, that we won’t lick his boots if he is the nominee.

BTW, I am wondering just where all his support is coming from????

There are deal-breaker issues for conservatives, but they are few and far between. Mr. McCain will not lose the Republican base by talking about global warming ...
OUCH !

That’s the one that got me too. If you swallow the liberal line on that one, it shows you are too gullible to be president.

McCain doesn’t believe that he is 70 plus, nor the fact that he has had magliant melanoma twice ,should even be a factor in his quest for power.

Thanks! 3 pm is the one I am most interested in. Can’t wait!!! Oh as much as I have many issues with him, the one issue that I am not sure should be blamed on him is missing CPAC last year. Was he running already? And would he have been able to speak if he had gone? If those answers are yes than for sure he dissed us last year.

Vice President Dick Cheney - 11:00 AM

Would VP give Romney any kudos during his speech? That would be very helpful.

One of Rush’s callers made a good point. The Republican Party says we should just suck it up and vote for McCain out of party loyalty. Why should we be loyal to the party and vote for a candidate who has never been loyal to the party.

I seriously wondering if it is “our party”.

What McCain says means nothing. He wants votes.

Nothing he says at CPAC will change my opinion of him.

He is an arrogant liar.

Chuck,

I seriously hope your post was tongue-in-cheek as it had the same tenor as those who believe that 9-11 was an inside job.

“He needs to stick to four basic themes.”

1. Lie about the economy

2. Lie about the border and immigration

3. Lie about carbon taxes and MMGW

4. Lie about CFR and CFR

You have hit the nail on the head! I hope he gets booed off the premises. He will never get my vote no matter how many lies he tells today. He is a liar and a nutcase. Why would anyone in their right mind smear the democratic voting process by voting for this man?

He will NEVER get my vote. Period.

Like,, what would I expect him to say here?

All that he has done,, all the trouble he has caused,, the amnesty bill, McCain/Feingold, wanting to switch parties, the betrayals and everything else should all be forgotten because of some speech he gives tonight?

I really liked what a caller said yesterday on Rush. She said something like, "These RINO's expect us to show more party loyalty than they have ever shown!"

It was an excellent point!

McCain continues to display arrogance. He stated before Tuesday he was the "assumed nominee." I read yesterday on some site he made the comment we need to just "get used to it" in reference to him being the nominee!

What's he going to be like once elected?

>>>>I can’t wait to hear his speech. I just am trying to see him trying to convince us and I am not sure he has it in him to do it.

There is nothing he could do or say for the remainder of his career to rectify the damage he’s done in the last 10 years.

Nothing.

And he’s still out stumping for illegal alien peasant Amnesty, as recently as in South Carolina three weeks ago according to published reports.

Frankly, I hope it’s a rout, and he goes down to a well-earned defeat, in favor of a better candidate. Hope the attendees don’t forget the past like Dem fools, nor leave their spines at home.

yeah, cause he is still proamnesty. he just says he has realized we have to secure the borders first. he is still freakin for amnesty. The problem is that if you grant amnesty you will just have millions and millions and millions more come.
The only way for mccain to get any respect for me is to drop out of the race.
