Who is Michael Reagan (I know who he is, btw) that he thinks he has the answers and that one of those answers is for “someone” to drop out.
In the future, we will look back on all this talk of dropping out with deep regret, IMO.
In the next race, if candidates don’t perform spectacularly right out of the gate, they’ll be asked and pressured to drop out.
If you think it is bad now, wait until this sort of thing gains speed.

Glad to see the right choice so early in the thread. My faith in FReepers is restored.

“I think mccain will be picking crist....the only good news would be if they won we would get rid of crist.....”

Gee, and to think they went after Romney for being “pro gay”... that’s one way to set the pro gay bar even higher. The only “gayer” option McCain could go for is Lindsey Graham or Tom Foley.

“I think they should send mccain for a complete physical and make sure he doesn’t have cancer cells, those melanomas can metastasize for a long time. ugly of me, i am sorry.”

It is rather the white elephant in the corner of the room. Bob Dole had to release his medical records to calm fears, so to speak, re: his age. For McCain, it’s going to be demanded outright after awhile by the media...since they will start drawing attention to that swelling on the side of his jaw that they have been trying to hide in the ads so far. Melanoma? Lympodemia? If he doesn’t say without documentation to back it up...the dems will start a whisper campaign about how he looks like a corpse that was yanked out of cold storage a month ago...but that he has such health issues that he won’t escape the footnotes of history for not surviving the first year in office.

Huck doesn’t do Mormons. So anything between Romney and Hucklebeed is never going to happen.

You made it a religious issue to begin with where you said Baptists are doing God’s will in this.

But, okay, now let’s stick to the issues, which are what matter. Take a look at Huckabee’s fiscal record on factcheck.org and see if it squares at all with what he says. It doesn’t. FactCheck quote: “We found him to be misleading and incorrect on several points.” And they name them.

For example, he raised taxes 21 times, a net tax increase. One of them is a “bed tax” (named by him) at hospitals.

Mr. Christian portrays himself as a fiscal conservative when his record shows he’s really a fiscal liberal, and he’s also lied about Romney’s so-called “flip flops” and stand on the war.

Romney’s not perfect, but he’s a lot better and certainly more honest than McAmnesty and the Huckster, who has duped many Christians into voting for him in order to help McCain.

Especially if it was Chuck Norris vs. Sly Stallone and the Gover-nator.....

We could even throw in Steven Segal for a chuckle....
