Untrue. They could contest the finding and vote with a provisional ballot. Election laws clearly state this is permissible. The Republicans should have held their ground and demanded their lawful provisional ballots.

Can they still do it?

I worked the polls on election day and the same thing
happened - many Republicans were showing up as Nonpartisan.
As a matter of fact, a couple of Democrats had the same thing
happen.

We allowed them to vote provisional.
