Reports are rolling into talk radio stations in San Diego about massive Republican vote suppression.
Thousands of Republican voters in San Diego and as far north as Los Angeles showed up to vote on Tuesday only to be told that they were registered "Non-Partisan". This meant that they could not vote for the Republican Primary candidates.
Non-Partisan (independent) voters in California can vote for Candidates in any other party, including the Democrat party, but are prohibited from voting in the Republican Primary unless they are registered as a Republican.
Rick Roberts [http://www.760kfmb.com] is currently reporting on this and has had hundreds of calls and thousands of e-mails from people who showed up to vote only to be told they were not registered as Republcans. Reports began rolling into the Roger Hedgecock show yesterday.
Several people have called in saying they witnessed this happening at polling place they worked at as volunteers. One gentleman stated that he believed at least 20% of the Republicans that showed up to vote were denied a Republican primary form because the roster showed them as "Non-Partisan".
The Republican Party in California has begun investigating this issue, but the mainstream media continues to report that Californias election "went smoothly".
It seems clear that someone or some group managed to tamper with the voter registration rolls. Either by direct access to the Registrars computer system, or by gaining access to voter information and then sending in registration cards in their name.
Southern California was projected to go heavily in favor in Mitt Romny.
“He is registered as an Independent but they would not let him vote for Ron Paul.”
There is no 3rd party primary. No independents can vote in a Republican primary in NYS.

I dont know. I am essentially reporting what I have been hearing on the Rick Roberts show so that this can get the attention it deserves.
Ping to the ‘url’ window over ride note.
I don’t think you can lay this at the feet of McCain (see my post 52). How would anyone know which voters to screw with and which not to within the party?
Actually, there is no FEC at the moment. The Dem-controlled senate has refused to confirm any of Bush’s appointees to fill the gaps, and there are not enough current members to constitute a quorum.

Coincidence? What better way to steal elections and primaries. eh?
Now that I am completely confused, I agree.
My best friend here in AZ. had to vote provisional ballot yesterday also. Poll workers said they could not find her name on the books. Her husband’s name was there. She has been a registered Rep. for years and in the same district. One of the poll workers mentioned that the problem was common in that polling place yesterday. Something “fishy” went on yesterday, and it looks like it was in more than one state.
How would someone know in advance which repubs were voting for whom and then go into the registrar's office and change just those poeple on the computer?
How did Romney do in SD?
Thank you.
But don’t try to tell the out-of-state “know-it-alls” otherwise. LOL
As a matter of fact, there are more registered “R” in CA than any other state in the Union. And CA gave America one of the finest POTUS in American history.
But some of the geniuses on FR think everyone in CA lives in Malibu or SF and is a registered 'Rat. LMAO
BTW, in the last 16 years, the GOP has gained the majority in 20 counties.
I didn’t know............thanks....
and if Romney didn’t suppress the Huckabee vote, Huckabee would have probably won Missouri (which would have kept McCain from winning that state).
so ... boo hoo
Ping to topic of Mccain’s cancer problem. ... The only thing that can derail John Insane is for him to blow up on camera, live, and show just how unstable he actually is. Short of that, Mitt Romney has been pushed out by the backroom republican party power brokers.
I understand now.
What I'm asking is how did this impact the republican outcome? If you add 5,000 votes to Romney, how many delegates would he pick up?
How did someone ID Romney voters and then control the registrar's computer 3 weeks ago to just screw up Romney's registrations?
One man’s ego can have huge consequences for US ALL. If he has health issues does he not give a damn past getting the nomination? That kind of judgment makes me question the man even more.He knows the media will go after him as a putative republican anyway, health issues be damned ? I could stomach McQueeg better if I didn’t already know his first act would be changing the the voter roles by 20 million democrats. But what about his anti- torture position? It will be cold comfort that we took the moral high ground when our cities are smoking ? I think Rush just said McCain will move to the left to shore up the Centrists....Ha!
SO the question is whether these voters who consider themselves Republican were registered NP and since they could always vote before they didn’t notice it until now, or were they registered republicans who were bumped off the republican list.
My guess is that it’s a lot of the former.
Things have really changed, why am I not surprised, it is NJ of course!
As for me in eastern upstate NY, I’ve never had a problem voting. Of course, as the Dem population creeps northward that could change, I suppose.
