I consider Rush, Ann C., etc. “media.” HUGE media. They spent the last few weeks skewering McCain in every way possible.

Sorry...but Rush and Ann have but a fraction of the audience that the "mainstream" media has. Amd when their remarks do get coverage in the "mainstream" media, they have been twisted and distorted to the point that they're unrecognizable compared to their original remarks.

Let's face it: the people who elected and re-elected Clinton don't get their talking points from Rush or Ann; they get it from the Spew York Times and other liberal rags.

Last night’s GOP results have conservative fingerprints all over them.

Conservatives don't support liberal RINOs like McCain. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.

Since, as you say, “Rush and Ann have but a fraction of the audience that the ‘mainstream’ media has,” just think how much damage they could do if their audience was larger.

You completely missed my other point.

I wasn’t referring to conservative support for McCain. I referred to conservative talk show hosts who convinced multitudes to NOT vote for McCain, thus driving them to Huckabee and skewering Romney.

So which horse will you ride into November? I don’t have one in the race. But I will vote in November for whoever I deem will do the least harm, thus preserving my right to gripe for four more years.

Carting conservatives off to the polls is not in Rush Limbaugh's job description.

The dimwits in the press corps-who are basically shills for John McCain and Hillary Clinton-need to realize that before they go spouting off on the "decline" in El Rushbo's influence.

The fact is that conservatives don't care enough about the results to stop Capt. Queeg.

Less than a quarter of the Republicans in New York-statewide, not just in The City-bothered to show up Tuesday.

Romney's campaign also needs to share the blame.

I've seen Ron Paul stickers, posters, banners, fliers, etc., all over the borough for the past couple of months.

There was even a Ron Paul acolyte electioneering outside of my polling place when I went to vote.

This for a fringe candidate who, if I were to estimate, probably received less than a hundred votes in my district.

The only Romney presence in NYC has been those insipid radio ad buys I listened to on WABC.
