why does being a member of the middle class entitle people to live where they want

I hope that's a facetious statement. Please tell me that you really didn't mean to say you think that broad swaths of the country - in this case New England - should be devoid of the middle class.

There are broad swaths of Long Island, Grosse Pointe Shores, Winnetka, La Jolla, etc. devoid of the middle class now. Why should you demand to live there if you can't afford it? That is my question.
