I don’t hate Huckabee. I really don’t believe many Conservatives do, either. We just feel strongly that he’s left (and all of the other’s, too) of where we should be going. Now is the worst time to move left, or even stay static. We need to move right.

Every time we have a moderate Republican in the WH, what’s “normal” moves left, and what was “normal” become Vast Right Wing Neocon.

I don’t hate Huckabee.

I do.....the sleazy push polling prior to the SC primary did the trick. Huck can stick it where the sun don't shine!

I don’t hate Huckabee, either. I like his pro-life and pro-family stances, and he is strong on guns, BUT he is definitely a big government kind of guy who wants to open are borders and bring terrorists to Leavenworth (as an example). His lack of foreign policy cred is also a little worrisome, though if he picked someone like Hunter for a VP, I could go with that.

To read the posts on the LIVE thread last night, anybody who didn’t support Romney is some sort of mental midget or religious bigot. The hatred for Huck was almost unreal. It was all his fault Romney wasn’t running away with Super Tuesday. Uh huh.

Romney supporters don’t seem to get that regardless of how beautiful he and his family are, or whatever his religion may be, or how brilliant he is with financial matters, some people just don’t LIKE Romney. He comes across as too slick, too rehearsed. I have heard that many times.

**sigh** I miss Fred.
