MSNBC's John Yang says a Romney senior campaign official says "tomorrow will be a day of frank discussions on the campaign."
Not quite a revelation, but the only news they have. A long day of meetings was already on the schedule long before the California news.
Yang says visit to Kansas on Friday is likely to be nixed.
Pat Buchanan says he doesn't believe Romney will pull out.
Norah wonders "how many conservative are popping pills" because "they can't go to bed because of heartburn" over the McCain wins this evening.

Ugh...a McCain-Hilary contest - think we better find something else to occupy our attention on TV...
The only upside for me to Romney dropping out will be listening to Hugh Hewitt eat crow.
Ah, Checkers, the vicious attacker who had a nasty habit of tearing down Fred Thompson — your little RINO is on his way out after an embarassing thrashing from coast to coast.
Hi all,
thanks for putting up with all my pings.

It’s over for Romney. Losing California was the ballgame for him. I think he should suspend his campaign and hope for the best, but the fact is McPain is the GOP candidate for president. We’ll start seeing the hit pieces in the mainstream media starting tomorrow. What a mess!
Hi all,
thanks for putting up with all my pings.

try not to gloat...try not to gloat...
Hewitt was unbearable.
It’s as if we are doomed to follow the liberal, global warming, homosexual agenda, free to be crowed over the cliff of humanity.
Show me me where I TORE down Fred Thompson.
Frankly, I felt held back. Fred played us by dividing the conservatives.
That’s the Truth. Suck on it.
He will be second in delegate count and can continue...but I am afraid he would need miracles in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to have any hope.
Huckabee cannot win, but he showed surprising strength in the south and actually hurt McCain worse than Romney in delegate count...but all of those are sure to ultimately go to McCain.
McCain is most likely going to be the nominee and it will be critical for conservatives as to what he says at CPAC, and how believable he is. As long as he has people like Jaun Hernandez on his staff, his immigration comments will ring hollow as regards to true fixing the border and stopping the flow.
Still, in a number of areas, there is no doubt that McCain would be better than Hillary or Obama. On basic abortion issues (except of course stem cell), on judges in general, and on the WOT. There is no doubt that at the same time that numerous conservative issues and the values they are based upon will be given stinging blows under a McCain admion. The question one has to ask is whether those blows would be as bad as a Hillary or Obama, and of course, with a Hillary or Obama those stinging blows would absolutely be across the board.
The only thing s worse than a McCain win in this Clusterhuck,
would be a McCain/Huckabee ticket.
Thanks for keeping us informed, Checkers. See you in ‘12! We’ll have a realignment to support!
Be of good cheer.
At least you get to see McCain blown out in November.
Well at least Republicans specifically conservatives won’t have to waste their time standing in line to vote in November. It will be nice to do other things that day. It is a tragic night! The only hope that Republicans have in November is that there is a blizzard that will keep MILLIONS of Democrats to stay home and maybe the million or less Republicans country wide that do go to vote might pull it for McCrazy. God help America!!!!
Amazing.
The Romney supporter upon hearing of Fred Thompson’s defeat:
“Welcome! Plenty of room over here!”
The erstwhile Thompson supporter upon hearing of Mitt Romney’s defeat:
“In your FACE!”
Grow up, JohnnyZ. We all lost. There is nothing to gloat about this evening.
I would prefer an enemy in front of me, rather than behind me.
