Yes!

I have no idea why I’m watching FNC, it’s all RAT coverage.

Ah. A little good news before I go to bed.

I was hoping Tancredo's turf would come out for Romney. Sadly, Sheriff Joe Arpaio's endorsement was not enough to get Arizona out of Juan McAmnesty's back pocket.

Super Tuesday Scorecard

McCain - OK (41), NY (101), DE (18), NJ (52), CT (30), IL (70), AZ (53)

Huckabee - AR (35), AL (48), WV (30), TN (55), GA (72)

Romney - UT (36), MA (43), ND (26), MT (25), MN (41), CO (46)

? - Leading Caucus, but hasn't won yet.

NOTE:  The number in (##) represents Total number of delegates for the state, not the number won.

Despite all the gloom and doom on Romney, McCain is still far from being able to win the nomination.

Possible outcome of a 2008 election with a

third party run
Possible outcome of a 2008 election with a third party run against the McCain-Huckabee-Soros-Clinton-Obama Cabal.

There are a lot of angry conservatives tonight who were denied their third choice.

For all Romney's faults, he's shown himself to be a man of class and decency who doesn't delight in pi**ing on the base. He's also shown he can organize, raise money and compete.

A third party candidacy could result in a deadlocked election where McCain-Huckabee would have to make meaningful concessions to win. At the very least, it would give conservatives someone to show up and vote for at the top of the ticket to save conservatives down ticket.

Intensity of blue(R)/red(D)/green(3) shades indicate probable percent of vote.

CO is undeclared, more like a straw poll, if I remember correctly.

Updated for MO in play:

McCain looks to carry-(7) AZ, CT, DE, IL, NY, NJ, OK
Romney looks to carry-(6)CO, MA, MN, MT, ND, UT
Huck looks to carry-(5) AL, AR, GA, TN, WV

MO will go to Huck or McCain while Romney has a good chance to win in AK.

CA will be the big prize. Be hilarious to see Romney tie mcCain in number of states carried.

The thing I do not get about this call is that Colorado’s primary is in August.
All they are doing today is caucusing on who to put on the ballot.

Actually we caucussed for delegates for upstream conventions. I believe our national delegates will be decided at the state convention in May. Romney was very strong in caucuses tonight and there will be many of his folks at the state convention. I’m excited to be one of them going.

My precinct voted Romney (along with myself). McCain got 7 elderly voters (now I know who to blame). Paul got 9 (CO is a big Libertarian state). Huck came in 2nd with 10.

The turn out was significant considering the last caucus had 3 participants (for our precinct & 30 for all 4).

Our “friends” at the school (where the caucus was held) decided tonight was a good opportunity to offer a parenting seminar. Topics included dealing with ADHD, bullying, controlling child anger, and nutrition (they were serving pizza!). They took up the auditorium and cafeteria with their event and our 4 (packed) precincts got the portables.

California is now crucial.

No matter what Mitt will win a lot of delegates there because it's not a winner take all state. Winning the popular vote would be a BIG plus in helping his march ahead.

The only good parenting that went on in my caucus was by my wife and another couple who brought their son! Our vote went pretty much the same as a Romney huge advantage and McLame getting only 1 vote in my precinct. We also sent up some new ideas for referendums both for the state and fed govt. I was nominated to be both chairperson and a delegate for the upcoming county delegate vote.

In early returns, California isn’t looking good for Romney. He’s registering in the 20s in almost all the districts reporting (to McCains 40 something). Amazingly, Rudy is showing up as 10-15%, so it must be showing the absentee votes first.

California gives 3 delegates to the winner of each Congressional District. Finishing 2nd in any district gets ya nuttin!

The vote in Colorado precinct caucus are only a straw vote
. i.e. a beauty contest and none binding.
