I’m a Christian and I don’t resent other Christians. What are you talking about?
I signed up on this forum to discuss politics with like-mided Republican conservatives, not to get into theological discussions.
And, I never expected to see the vast amount of ugly, hateful venom aimed at the Mormon Church on this forum.
THAT is not what I call a “personal decision of how to vote” as you put it.
How is saying one would only vote for Christians aiming venom at Mormons? I have nothing against Mormons, Hindus or any other religion, I just prefer to vote for Christians. You seem to be the bigot, spewing hate at anyone who doesn't subscribe to your "approved" rational for voting.
I haven’t seen any vicious attacks on mormonism in this thread. I have seen a few posters say that they personally couldn’t vote for a Mormon candidate and then a whole bunch of posters calling them bigots and implying that everyone who voted for Mike Huckabee is a bigot. I guess I just think that the word bigot is being overused. It should be reserved for people who say nasty horrible things about a group of people not used for people whose personal religious beliefs prevent them from voting for a certain political candidate.
