I think that's true. His main choices are Rudy and Huck. I think he would chose Rudy. Of course he could go to current and former Senators he has served with ... several of which would jump at the chance. Outside choice is Liebermann ... which I think might be persuaded to take it.

What ever way the Veep will most like be from the East ... not Arkansas.

McCain has such a big ego, I don’t think he’ll choose a VP. The Maverick would prefer to go it alone, I’m sure.

I asked who your candidate is......Your response - Fred.

Fred was my first choice, also. He's gone. Who's your choice now with those who are left?

I think McSane is considering Ted Kennedy for a running mate.

His main choices are Rudy and Huck.

I know of some votes McCain will lose with Rudy on his ticket.

The voters have expressed a revulsion for Rudy.

Further. McCain is not Reagan. Reagan chose his rival, maybe even a bitter rival, in Geo. H.W. Bush. Thereby uniting a pretty much divided Party, amongst the leadership maybe not so much the people.

McCain is no Reagan (despite his statements from his own mind) ... he doesn't have it in him. He will 'demand' a united party and if he loses it will be the Party's fault.
