That is exactly my conclusion as to just how in blazing heavens a Liberal who is PRO AMNESTY can achieve the nomination of a conservative political party in an ANTI-AMNESTY YEAR.

There are two factors at work here.

1) The Mass Media covered for him and covered up the fact of his actual true position.

2) The American people became so dumed down that they fail to anymore do "due diligence" before voting. As a result, McCain [and the shill Huck in his territories] could pull a fast one over them.

The second one is particulaly troubling, Aurorales and my fellow Americans. The fact that even conservatives are not doing their homework does not bode well for our American Republic. But I do have to say that on each subsequent visit back to the USA from overseas, in just talking to people generally, I see a very noticeable "dumbing down process" (when it comes to civics, current events, geography, economics and even light topics) whereby people are opiated and anethesized through their bread and circus diversions (often steeped in TV/CDs/Movies/Video Games) so that they are moving further and further from reality and reason.

John McCain's win is certainly not good for the United States nor indicative of a bright future.

I think this quite necessarily must be the deeper analysis of this historic Super Tuesday night on the GOP side.

3rd party has been a loser for many years. But this year seems to be something that we haven’t seen in many years. If it ends up being McCain running against Hillary there are going to be enough voters unhappy with those choices that a conservative third party might be able to win if it runs a serious candidate (like Santorum) with name recognition. This would especially be the case if Bloomburg enters the race and turns it into a four way race.

Oh please. Third party is always a loser - it’s delusional thinking.

I've shared that belief for many years....but not now.

I'm not a Republican anymore, and I'm not a Democrat either...I'd consider voting for their parties candidates if I agree with them on issues, but that's about it.

If there are truly 20-30% of voters out there that are 'independant', why if enough of them feel alike can they not start another party? It'll never happen if it never gets started...

I like the Constitution Party's plank, but their candidates are often lacking...I'd love ot see some conservative elected officials defect.

I know it's not going to happen, but a man can dream...

So Obama or Hillary is your choice because you mistrust the RNC.

LOL.

Laura’s doll.

Nellie had it and Laura found it out in a mud puddle.

Her heart was broken. But Ma mended it and it turned out o.k.

Its not that Rush takes liberal positions, its that he lies about Willard’s record. Rush has been consistently against any form of socialized health care but he doesn’t take issue with RomneyCare which is already going bankrupt and asking for a federal bailout. Rush knows his audience and he talks like a conservative but his support of Willard speaks volumes about his values.

“Oh please. Third party is always a loser - it’s delusional thinking.”

If McCain gets it - the loss is in. A third party is a viable alternative for a protest vote. I’ll never vote for McCain, the hater of conservatives.

McCain getting the nod is proof of what I said over a year ago: the MSM will select the GOP Presidential nominee- not voters.

Until something is done about the MSM influence on the sheeples, this will happen every single election cycle from here on out.

Maybe because they’re energized while the Repubs are apathetic at this point given who we had to choose from? I can’t speak for anyone else but I voted today because I always vote but I wasn’t too happy about my choices. I don’t see it changing by Nov. I’m terrified for this country.

Romney table was empty when I got to caucus, so I sat there and greeted folks just to be sure to have a presence. My brother even came over, and thank God he’s for Romney too, thought that evangelical stuff might blind him.

“No reasonable person can assure themselves that Romney won’t flip back to liberal on all the issues he converted to over the last few years.”

Keep convincing yourself you didn’t waste a vote on HuckaB

If McCain is elected, I can live with that.

I won’t be disappointed as I have zero expectations.

I just know he would be better than Hillary.

_______________________________________________________

Well now how is McCain gonna beat anyone in November???
Liberals will vote for the D’s
Moderate Democrats don’t trust republicans...even McCain
Conservatives will not vote for McCain.

McCain offers no compelling reason to vote with the exception of the WOT, and if he remains open borders, close gitmo, no interrogation of terrorists, then thats not real strong is it?
Maybe the global warming folks will vote to shut down the economy and raise the price of gasoline .50 cents. Those green collar jobs are going to pump up the economy.
