I haven’t seen any vicious attacks on mormonism in this thread. I have seen a few posters say that they personally couldn’t vote for a Mormon candidate and then a whole bunch of posters calling them bigots and implying that everyone who voted for Mike Huckabee is a bigot. I guess I just think that the word bigot is being overused. It should be reserved for people who say nasty horrible things about a group of people not used for people whose personal religious beliefs prevent them from voting for a certain political candidate.

" We DO need someone to carry the conservative banner. "

I'm all for it, but I still shut my eyes and see a monolithic gaggle of "Social Democrats" totally agreeing with each other while a meager pack of tiny little terriers snap at their jack booted ankles.

Agree better than McInsane... Hell, FDR would be better than that maniac... He’d have us in WW-III.

BUT can you imagine the discussions those two would have? And do you think Huckster would STFU long enough for Mittens to get a single word in?

Huckster would be stepping on his tongue, and drooling over Israel, like a slavish little lap-dog, while Romney was busy trying to negotiate with the Arabs for oil. I think the combo would be like water and gasoline.

“The only advantage I see now between the two is that McCain is the lesser of the two losers, and Romney the evil of the two lessers.”

Ok, you vote twice for McCain, because I’m not voting once for him.

Probably...it would be bigger deal in a Presidential election...

It happened in Ohio I believe when all those students were still waiting in lines after closing

I found the exit polls for Missouri amusing. IDed as very Conservative went for Huckabee, somewhat Conservative for Romney, all else for McCain. More annual income = Huckabee. More education = Huckabee. A bunch of young, ignorant, independents made the difference for McCain.

"and see that in many the democrats had better turnout."

That's what scares me the most.

Glad you enjoyed it...

Then again, Hitlery might introduce Teddy to Vince Foster.

Perhaps we could get two for the price of one?

Just as the beast is goin’ under for the third time (with a little help from Teddy) she pulls out the 45 ACP, and plugs old Uncle Ted’s fat ash can full of holes...

There would be an environmental disaster...

well, you know, with all that gin in the water.

"I just prefer to vote for Christians. You seem to be the bigot, spewing hate at anyone who doesn't subscribe to your "approved" rational for voting."

Don't look now,
but 'rational' might not be a wise choice of words.

Apart from being either misspelled or misused.

And, I never expected to see the vast amount of ugly, hateful venom aimed at the Mormon Church on this forum.

Want to see venom...

Utah's Mormons loathe Huckabee

Well, we sure aren’t on the same
wavelength. The religious bigotry
on this thread has been unbelievable.
