LIVE THREAD II
that was actually pretty funny
The Alameda County registrar of voters, after consulting with a judge, voluntarily directed that 14 polling places be kept open as late as 10 p.m. because the office ran out of ballots. The polling places were in Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward and Fremont.
In related news, I was watching CNN and I thought that their performance had permeated my living room in a completely new way. Turns out my pug puppy pooped on the floor.
Good news, though. The face of Mike Huckabee appeared in the poop. Magical! Can epiphanies be scatological or just eschatological?
Obama landslide in Alaska
Alaska Democrats are reporting 38 or 40 districts reporting and Barrack Obama has won in a landslide, with 74 percent of the delegates to Hillary Clinton’s 25 percent.
In terms of supporters, it breaks down to 6,266 for Obama and 2,088 for Clinton.
Ok I’m gettin giddy and giddiness mixed with 8 yrs of hell is all i can handle ...night all...and prayers out to all you bigots.
You’ve certainly done yourselves proud this election cycle...Hail Obama.
“Who gave you the authority to proclaim different denominations heretical?”
Logic 101: Can two belief systems that are diametrically opposite both be valid? Can black be white? Can daylight be nighttime? Logic holds that two opposites cannot both be true.
Thus the assertion of “heresy” (to contradict an orthodox dogma) must apply to one or the other. No “authority” required other than reason.
I don’t know you from Adam and could care less what you have to say, joe bucko.
LOL...I’m awake, my brain is asleep...Absentee Ballots is the word, not write-in ballots...
Thank you.
I meant the absentee ballots. CNN is reporting 95% of the democrat results are in, but the republican have 0% reporting. Curious.
Purple Nurple time
He sure did. Opportunist in chief.
Well isn’t that special Enchilardo.
Romney won Alaska
Republicans: Romney leads in early results
FEBRUARY 5, 2008 - 9:45 PM
With 11 of 40 districts reporting statewide, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is leading in Republican preferential voting, according to a spreadsheet just e-mailed out by the party.
Of 3013 ballots counted so far, Romney has 52.4 percent of the delegates, followed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 31.6 percent, Rep. Ron Paul and, each with 27.6 percent, and Sen. John McCain with 27.2 percent.
Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich says in an e-mail that turnout “exceeded all expectations.”
Pugs are so cute. Did you watch the Puppy Super Bowl? I didn’t but heard it was hilarious...
P.S. I will never see dog poop quite the same after your epiphany story:) Huckabee, however, improved his image by appearing in the poop.
Times are a changing
Is that what they call that stupid little ink blot on the ballot... purple nurple?
I liked punching the holes better.
Whoop-de-doo....:)
no....
I was suggesting those with grudges on the thread give each other purple nurples.
I think the ballots are called Ink-a-blots
