So you are an optimist;) Please read these threads here. Did you listen to Rush today? Yesterday? Many on the right have sworn to never vote for McCain. Even if many decide to go ahead and vote for him, it will be far less of our base who votes, than the Dems'. The whacko left is way more jacked up, thanks to moveon and code pink/soros, etc. It would be hard to win with Romney, who is charismatic and could pull many democrats. McCain is hopeless...
