PURE NONSENSE! I don't believe that for a second. LBJ`s "Daisy Ad" was shown once on national television. Johnson's campaign was hammered for airing it. Goldwater had no personality whatsoever and his hard right rhetoric turned most voters off.
I disagree.
LBJ showed the ad once, the media showed it over and over and over again stating how horrible it was.
Then we can go into the lies about Viet Nam that LBJ spouted against BG...you know its history - we just disagree on this point.
