The paul voters get to vote again. If all of them go to Romney, it’s over. If all of them leave, Romney moves closer to 50%, but so do all the others. If they split their votes, Romney can’t make it in the 2nd round.

The question is how committed are the other delegates to their candidates, and are they committed enough to vote in lock-step for another candidate based on some “deal”.

Also, can it happen in multiple places at once, as I imagine there are more than one voting location.

Some of the other delegates might have to leave as well.

From what I understand this is a state convention and all voters are in one location.

Keep in mind most Paul supporters are against the Iraq war-while all the other candidates support the war, its been McCains #1 issue and the paul-bots are not likely to go that way.
