I don’t blame FRed.
He was fighting with moles in his campaign, who were holding a grudge over the departure of the Fox guy who joined the campaign. Every time he started getting ahead, they floated another vicious rumor.
He couldn’t root them out. He was going to have to fire a good portion of his staff, and he knew he couldn’t continue if that happened, due to bad press and lack of staff.
What makes you think it would be any different if he reentered the race? What makes you think he'd be able to overcome the 'onetime-dropout' tag they'd pin on him?
Fred left us; we never left Fred. But once he did, I made a commitment to consider Romney through my state's primary (which is today). If you knew me well you'd know I honor my commitments, even those to myself. Well, I'm voting for Romney today. And then we'll see. But one thing I can tell you, I'm not voting for McCain, Huckabee or Paul in the general election. So that leaves a write-in vote or staying home. It's that simple.
Now, if Fred were to reenter the race (I'm not holding my breath) I might reconsider if it looked like it could take hold. But, like I said, I'm big on commitments, and Fred canceled his with us. So, I'm lukewarm at best. I consider that fair.
What/who is this?
I heard about the staff problems, too.
That’s really a shame.
There were intentional plants by both Rudy and Romney people who hurt things from within.
The “campaign” people are some of the worst bottom feeders in the world.
