I am a republican Conservative, myself.
Republican by affiliation, conservative by conviction.

Interesting that the assumption is that RINOs are conservative enough to be Republicans.
But these days, it is often the case that Republican policies themselves are not conservative themselves.
The spoiled little child (the country club republicans) knew exactly what would happen its is not like this has not happened in history before, so they chose to take a big chance not to win this election.
Throw your temper tantrum where it means something the stupid head of the party that knew better, because people with morals and ideals do not give them up because you whine, they just see you as the lesser, having nothing worth standing for.
You make a good point. CINO is a better term for where we are today.

I strongly urge conservatives not to vote for, and enable RINO politicians any longer.
It really pi$$es me off that conservative that wish to hold the party accountable are label as RINOs because they exercise their God-given, constitutionally protected right to vote for the most qualified politicians
and RINOs try to marginalize them by blaming them.
If RINO politicians would step up to the plate and act like conservatives then they might get a majority of the vote. Instead they pander to the middle, and sometimes even to the very Left itself and then blame us for not getting reelcted.

I would be a RINO (even been called that once here at FR) except that I’m not a registered Republican so um...
I’m a Neo-RINO vs. a Paleo RINO of pre-2006 days. The Paleos have taken over control of the GOP. Conservatism is now out of style and favor. All planks of conservatism in the GOP have been ripped up and are being used for the big McCain bonfire rally.
Sure I am, and proud of it. I vote Republican 99% of the time, but I am not registered as such, nor, would I, although I have worked on any number of campaigns at the local, state and national level as a volunteer for candidates that were compelling enough ( all Republicans except for a regretable lapse in Ross Perot-land ).
This guy, though, should do some serious thinking, ( as should some on FR, imho ) as to what it is that he hopes to gain from supporting no one who doesn’t completely share his views.
From my perspective, it is better to move the ball down the field a few yards at a time than to hang back and hope for the long ball. Those only come around once in a while.

Who has not had the same thing happen to them in the past? I've been a Freeper for almost 10 years, and I've seen it happen to many a good and loyal Freeper.
