did you see Drudge reporting widespread problems in LA? I bet that is the work of Hillary’s minions...since she owns the labor unions, and they are the ones that deploy the voting machines.

Well remember the 2000 disaster in Florida? At least Bush won the state cleanly in 2004.

"Huckabee is always talking so piously when he’s actually a viper."

Yeah, the man turns my stomach. The folks on the "right" who are so easily snookered by Huckabee's smooth talking are no different than those on the left who were hypnotized by Bill Clinton's honeyed tongue.

That was from post #298, and I was agreeing, I don’t see Huckabee or Ron Paul as having any chance.

My congratulations to the Huckabee voters for actually casting a vote for McCain; I hear they are trying to do the same in Montana.

McCain is the worst. We can not let him be our leader. I will switch over and vote for a dim for first time in my life if Mccain wins today.

Yes. ‘Identity’ politics is a dangerous concoction.

I mean no offense, but I've always wondered this about Huckabee voters: Did you choose Huckabee because God commanded you to do so, or did you vote for him because you don't believe McCain or Romney are Christians?

McCain attends a Baptist church with his wife (I believe his wife is a member; he is not).

Other than that, I would say it's a safe bet that those who claim to become a god do not follow in the way of Christ. The book of Isaiah says that God knows of no other god. I'll trust that assessment.

any of you California FReepers have a pulse on how things might go today?

Not from CA, but have been watching this all day. McCain started at 59.5.

It is easier to put up a filibuster if all you have to fight is the other party. It is harder when you have to fight the other party and your own president. No way will I vote for McCain.

Pollywog and you are the ones who base your votes on religion; not me.

You have this slightly wrong... for me at least. I take God's Word, Pray and ask wisdom from Him, then I vote and leave the rest to God! I voted my conscience. That doesn't mean that Huckabee will win either! It means I choose to be obedient to God, and trust HIM for our country. We have long ago turned our back on The GOD of the Universe and judgement is about to come from His Hand.(read His Handbook of Instructions!) I will NOT compromise. I wanted Hunter! ...and if McCain is the nominee I will WRITE in HUNTER! It was all of you fearful ones that felt Hunter couldn't win that have put us into this position by compromising and going with the lesser candidates!
