Dumb argument really. The dem majority in both houses is likely to remain. But with no republican president with a veto pen to backstop them the republican minority won’t be able to accomplish much.

Of course it is very liberating to be in a hopeless impotent minority if thats what he means.

Rush’s point was that a Pub minority could block bad ideas coming from Hillary because they would be united, but would be split about the same ideas coming from McCain. An example would be Hillary-care in 1993. What do you think would happen if Pres. McCain announced he was working with Senator Clinton to pass a universal healthcare plan? All the Dems and half the Pubs would vote for it.
