Ingraham on Fox ^ | 5 Feb 08 | Ingraham on Fox

Posted on 02/05/2008 4:56:49 AM PST by xzins

She clearly stated:

I'm not one of those folks who will say that I won't vote for him.

She earlier said that she just didn't think this was the time to turn to party over to the Dole/Ford wing of the Republican Party.

She called McCain an amazing man, and that she deeply respected him.

I appreciate your taking the time to write that, but all three are Rino liberals.

McCain, Romney, Huckabee are all Campaign Closet Liberals whose records reveal them to be liberals.

I am so sick of hearing the 'if we don't support the GOP nominee' rhetoric! We are in the position we are now because the GOP settled for someone who's allegedly electable, but only because he's more liberal than what a GOP candidate should be. Supporting McCain now will only reinforce what the fools running the party now believe- that in order to beat the Democrats, the Republicans must become more liberal.

And that is out and out bullsh!t. You do NOT advance conservatism by becoming more liberal. It never works. Rest assured, the GOP will never recover from this annoitment of McCain. Never.

Conservatives didn't choose McCain. He was chosen by the MSM, the RNC, the GOP good old boys, and the RINOs who support them. And yes, damn it, there's a great many freepers who are enablers to this pathetic line of reasoning.

So all of you out there, that fall into the categories above, go ahead, hold your nose and vote for McCain. I will proudly write in a candidate. But I will never, EVER, vote for McCain (or Huckabee).

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

And I'm tired of falling for the same old sob story. Hillary or McCain in the White House won't be the fault of those of us who held onto principle over pomp, substance over style... It will be YOUR fault.

"I won’t vote for McCain".

Neither will James Dobson.

Clinton and Obama will not stab me in the back. They make it very plain they are my enemy. I always know where they stand. They are not difficult to read.

McCain on the other hand says he is a Reagan Republican but he will stab conservatives in the back. I guess I just like to confront my enemies head on. I do not like having to watch my back.

That old whine doesn’t work any more. I’ll not vote for someone like McCain just to keep someone who might be a little worse from winning.

If or Clinton or Obama wins it’s because the RINOs nominated another liberal and relinquished any claim to the conservative vote. Republicans can’t win without conservatives and it’s way past time that they learned that.

There’s no good choice now but McCain is the worst of the bad choices and I for one will never vote for him for anything.

But, you’re free to do as you please with your vote.

I like Laura, my favorite right wing female pundit.

And she is smokin’ hot.

"..other than Paul, but he has his idiotic isolationist plank.."

Some of us call that a "non-interventionist" plank.

Stange, isn't it? Ron Paul is the most conservative on all the issues, even issues the other candidates haven't even addressed, but just this one thing will keep good FReepers from supporting him.

Have you ever considered the possibility that Ron Paul is correct on this one too?

"There’s no way to choose the “lesser” of 3 evils."

Then choose the 4th one.

Not "evil" at all.

Oh, yes, I have.

I looked seriously at the Constitution Party and liked what I saw until I got there. The are so seriously wrong about the Constitution on this item, but defense is the major reason governments exist.

They can’t be wrong on this one.

"I cast my absentee ballot for Romney, but I will pull the lever.."

How can you vote twice?

Did you tell them you're a democrat?

I've heard you can get a whole pocket full of ballots simply by claiming you will vote for a democrat.

"..defense is the major reason governments exist."

This shows that you can be correct and missinformed at the same time.

While "defense" is clearly the responsibility of the government, I submit to you that it also (and primarily) means defense of our liberty.

Our personal liberty is spelled out in the "Bill of Rights".

The defense of our borders is also mandated. As well as defense of U.S. citizens.

So when you start talking about "defense", please include our personal liberties, and do not confuse it with "nation-building" all over the world.

No, she’s wrong. He is equal to Obama in terms of risk, and “tantrums” are guaranteed should either win, “serious” chastizing by Wiser Talking Heads like Laura, Hewitt, Kristol, Krauthhammer, and Barnes notwithstanding.

I think you are close to the truth on that. I’m not saying that she’s as strong as McCain on the war on terror, but she is hardly weak.

I don’t believe that one bit. He throws out crap that could POSSIBLY be read to be what he claims, but lie?

Naw.

... wholly unacceptable to those of us who have lived through these kinds of dangerous fools.

You do not have a monopoly of having "lived through these kinds of dangerous fools." I HAVE lived to regret offering my support to Arnold Schwarzenegger in California which I did on the same premise you now urge upon me for rationalizing an embrace of YOUR particular Rino. As a Californian, I have experience "living through" another variety of dangerous fool.

Your entire premise is built on false assumptions that you come to by way of blind fear and a certain kind of obstinacy that, incidentally, I have observed in my past 50 years to be a trait much more pronounced in vegetarians than meat-eaters, seriously! I Example: ... don’t bellyache to me about how you didn’t have a Republican perfect enough to meet your exacting specifications.

I you really believe that I and others like me have "exacting specifications," you are at best minimally informed and naive, and at worst stubbornly self-deceiving. But I don't think you "believe" any such thing -- I think that you, like dairy bulls, hippopotami, Adolf Hitler, Jeremy Robbins, and other of the world's most blatant example of vegetarian bull-headed obstinacy and aggression -- are simply and willfully wearing blinders because you can't admit alternative views.

Like the bull you emulate for what you think are Biblical reasons, you are being led to see red by your fear of Clintons, and being misled by it.

Whatever your INTENT (feelings) in punishing the party or its nominee ...

"Intent" is a very different thing than "feelings," and "punishing" is ONLY representative of how you interpret the result, just as a dog thinks he's being "punished" when his master leaves him at home while visiting a relative who's alergic to dogs.

Irrationality reigns with you.

“Why vote for McCain when we can run Petraeus in 2012?”

I had never thought of that. Petraeus. I like it.

That was a truly bizarre post (duplicate posts actually), full of unwarranted personal attacks, assuming I support someone you don’t think is conservative “enough” because of my Bible-based choices. Please don’t attempt to respond to me again, especially with this kind of argument, because it really is unworthy of debate.

I sincerely hope you don’t have any family or friends in the military when Clinton or Obama destroy it. And have a nice life, really.

I have found that those who refer “nation building” as the reason for the WOT have forgotten that 3000 of our fellow citizens were murdered by islamo-fascism on Sep 11, 2001.

It amazes me that they forget, but they forget.
