One the one hand, Huckabee supporters are bigots.

Yet on the other, they would switch to Mitt if Huckabee would drop out.
Which is it?

I have no doubt that Huckabee likes McCain better than Mitt. So he stays in to help McCain.

What is wrong with that?

Mitt should be depending on other candidates to help him win. He can’t seem to close the deal himself.

That is his fault alone.

That should say:
Mitt should NOT be depending on other candidates to help him win.

The bigot supporters will keep flocking to the most egregious RINO they can find so long as its not a mormon.

The non-bigot Huck supporters are just befuddled and confused, thinking a soft-on-crime tax-and-spend populist is ‘conservative’ because he’s prolife and wears his christianity on his sleeve.

“Mitt should be depending on other candidates to help him win.”
Yeah, just like Mccain is - letting the conservative vote get split so he can win the nomination ... yikes!

Come on JRochelle. You’ve had a chip against us Mormons for a very long time here on this forum. The fact of the matter is if Romney wasn’t a Mormon, you would be one of his fervent supporters.

Why deny the fact a sizable portion of Huckabee’s supporters are religious bigots who would rather see the US collapse under leftist rule than vote for a conservative Mormon?

We both know an enormous percentage of Evangelicals loath Mormons and believe we are all going to hell for it. Mormons, with our belief in tiered heavens and the nonpermanence of hell, NEVER act the same way by blithely condemning unbelievers to an eternity of torture.

What arrogance. What a disgusting behavior. I’m sure your “god” is pleased.

I doubt the sentiment you quoted is completely true. As an evangelical Christian I can assert that we do not hate Mormons, we do loathe Mormonism. That is a big difference. I hope that the Mormons' view of evangelical Christianity is similar and most do not personally hate Mike Huckabee.

You are absolutely right, however, if Mitt Romney were such a strong candidate, Mike Huckabee wouldn't be a problem.
