Anyone have any knowledge of the validity or fabrication of the following website? vietnam veterans against john mccain

I heard the site's main guy on the radio yesterday evening and this is the first I've been aware of such a concerted effort to bring McCain's POW record to the fore front. Perusing through this website, it appears these folks have been after McCain for a number of years.

I'm just curious about this. If there's even a hint that any of this is true, I can see McCain being swift-boated by the Dem's quicker than you can say John Kerry.

Rather than just calling it all BS, does anyone have any specific knowledge of this group?

Whereas there are different levels of heroes, and certainly, McCain is on some level a hero, I don’t believe his treatment of the MIA families respected the heroes left behind.

I would recommend checking out Ted Sampley and balancing, as best as one can, what he says, what others say about him and what the record shows. The truth may lie somewhere in between.

How McCain manipulated his personal life when he returned and his preference of political ties with Viet Nam over the interests of fellow military personnel that bothers me (aside from his detrimental legislation). I am waiting to see if I will have to overcome a revulsion based on things long past, in order to prevent a revulsion based on things more recent and all-too-likely in the future.
