There is very little that surprises me about todays political climate. Yet, it has been my experience that Romney supporters have for the most part, at the very least, been respectful and honorable. When I look at the keywords and read the posts on various threads it becomes evident this is no longer the case.

Did Romney supporters suddenly become nasty and puerile out of desperation? Does another candidates supporters joining their ranks account for this recent trend? Were Romney supporters like this all along and I am just now noticing? I suspect not, still, all these are interesting questions and I suspect the answers would be very informative.

Yeah, I'm thinking what you're thinking. My comment in the following was popped slowly into the air, where it's still floating. ...ever play volleyball? ;-)

The “political climate” on the Republican side seems to be divide and conquer. No single candidate has been more divisive than Huckabee. At a time when we should all be pulling together to beat the “mother of all threats”, it has been Huckabee who has split off those that unsure about Mormonism, those that believe every single hit piece news item, and those that simply vote as an Evangelical bloc.

I sincerely hope that the Huckster stays in the race. Nobody does a better job of pushing confused conservatives to look closely at their options. The Huckster continually hammers away at Romney, and yet, does not say a single word against McCain. Like everything else about this fraud, it is highly suspicious, it’s almost like he’s not campaigning for POTUS, just VP.

Every candidate has supporters who are like that. It's a human condition thing.
