One more reason to get rid of metric football.
When I said US soccer needs to get involved with other nations and learn their styles in order to be competitive, I wasn’t talking about the British soccer hooligans.
"I see the coach come over and grab one of our players, and I'm thinking, 'Can he do that?"'
Reading these words I hear the voice of Phil Hendrie's character named Brass Villenheuva.
I don’t know. There were a couple of neighboring towns in the South that cancelled high school football games for years because of the number of fights that broke out in the stands during the games. Wasn’t a racial thing either.
No, my point was that this kind of fighting used to be common in some places, especially the South. The fights that I mentioned weren’t the result of some kind of racial tension, it was a cultural (or lack thereof perhaps) thing.
They needed some Citizens Auxiliary Police on duty!
This is not a surprise. My brother was on a state-championship level soccer team in Chula Vista in 1974, and we were the only native English speakers on the team. Everyone took their futbol very seriously in those parts 35 years ago!
Can’t blame this on Mexican culture, though - sports hooliganism is universal. Everyone on earth needs to Get a Life, in my opinion.
What were you talking about then?
Did you mean the Coke addicted, rapist, dog abusing, bastard fathering, criminal element that infest the NFL?
( we can all sterotype, you know...)

Is this guy a government teacher? Wow! What a role model.
Is this the “socialization” that homeschoolers are missing? Seems like a another reason to homeschool!
Can’t we just get along,otay?
