Probably the most dangerous aspect of this ‘perfection’ of humanity is not that it is not a moral choice, but that it will eventually produce something unable to survive at the time of the next catastrophe. We’re like an old car, imperfect, but we can keep it running. The new cars are junk if a light on the dashboard goes out.
