Kevin McHale was among those attending a fundraiser for the Republican presidential contender on Saturday night in Minneapolis.
He joins Danny Ainge, who has already maxed out as a Romney contributor.
Ainge and McHale were teammates on Boston Celtics teams that won two world championships during the 1980s.
Ainge remains with the Celtics as the team's executive director of basketball operations, while McHale is vice president of basketball operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I saw McCale when he played at Minnesota in college. He was a monster (and a lot better player than Bill Bradley).

Well, now Kevin McHale is going to hell like all of the other Mormons and friends of Mormons. Romney must have hyptmatised him into donating with the power that Satan granted him when the late Mormon church leader granted Romney permission to seek out the presidency and demand all of America be instantly converted. Sarcasm is awesome.

What does hyptmatised mean?

BTW, anyone know what religion maxed out contributor Ainge is? Well, Ainge did go to BYU (Brigham Young University, for those in Rio Linda)...so probably Mormon.

He was a great player but a bad GM. But I will let it slide after this. Just like when Mike Tice endorsed W. in 2004.

I remember during the 1985 playoffs that 6’9” James Worthy couldn’t cover McHale too well.
Pat Riley’s solution? Put 7’2” Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on McHale. I remember seeing a photo in the Los Angeles Times of Kareem sticking his LONG arms past McHale’s passing lane.
The Lakers won the title.
I’ll have to get that series somehow to watch it again, now that I’m ... older.

And that would make a difference why? Oh, I'd think it's pretty obvious.

Kevin McHale was among those attending a fundraiser for the Republican presidential contender on Saturday night in Minneapolis. And the Timberwolves have 5 of their 10 wins in the last 10 games. Hmmmmm.

I took pix of McHale when he was in high school...James Worthy was at the same event, the National Sports Festival in Colorado Springs.
