Not everyone is cleared for secret. Upon entering, one gets a general clearance. It takes a HUGE amount of manpower to get SEC,TS, SCI clearances. Not every Joe Schmuckatelli needs it.

Anyways, when were these remarks? In a press conference? To whom? Who asked? Why aren’t the slew on Pentagon reporters pressing the “Mushroom Man”? If Coughlin worked on the Joint Staff what are they saying?

Claudia Rosett is one heck of a patriotic trooper. Once she gets her claws into something, it doesn’t go away. She does need our help with this.
Translation: "The Pentagon is stonewalling, refusing further interviews even with anonymous spokespersons, and just hoping that this will go away if they can stall long enough.
