Perps are ID as being black here. My guess is victims are the same and perps knew the victims. Just my guess

Don’t assume...watch the News TV tape. One of the guys is white, at least his hand is.
If you watch the video at the link, you will see that the witness who talks to the reporter-—facing away while wearing a hood to conceal his ID——is caucasian. He shows some fight wounds on his hand, and it’s a white hand.
In another story about this, the attackers are ID’d as being black.
