well they’ll be happy if romney just throws them a bone about pro-life and guns. I think a lot of them are in a trance. WSJ on Friday said it was as if Romney studied every detail of how conservatives think and decided to be perfect on every issue.

They really don’t like it when I claim that Romney is really a class warrior socialist who wants a CFR that’s even worse than mccain feingold. But I say it like it is.

They were so disillusioned by the failure of the Fred campaign that they were ready to grasp at anything resembling their ideal conservative and Romney took full advantage of that yearning.

There was a big church group in Detroit that organized a crossover for Romney too.

I had thought that they were going to push for Paul but they switched to Romney to keep him in the race to force everyone to spend more money.

Without the crossover Romney likely would have been out before SC.

That would have changed the outcome there.

well mccain and huck know how to run an efficient campaign. Romney was the one who blew the most dough and I can’t feel too sorry for him.

but man I wish we had someone with the conviction of Fred and the marketing of Mitt. Mitt should really go into sales after he loses the nomination.

this is funny

No!! Stay in Huck...we need you to get this thing to a brokered convention to leave the possibility that the GOP might nominate a conservative instead of one of the three stooges: Romney, McCain and well..you Huck.

Huckabee should drop out because he is screwing up the works.

He won't do it, not because as you claim he has been "relentlessly savaged" here. He will stay in the race because he is a selfish, self-serving opportunist.

He's also unemployed and needs to maintain his status quo.

He's here and in our face, and loving every perverted moment of it.

Well, Duncan Hunter can be deceived as easily as any other person. He had a year to be brain washed...by The Huckster. They deserve each other at this point.

"He won't do it, not because as you claim he has been "relentlessly savaged" here."

Why don't you thoroughly read my posts before stating that I " claimed " he was savaged " here " . I was referring to the Right Wing of the party , not FR . Go re-read post 11 and let me know what you find ...

I agree , let them go all the way and let’s see where the chips fall .

Did you ever think you would see the day that good Conservatives were reduced to supporting one RINO , to stop another RINO, while another RINO sits there and helps foment the problem with joyful glee ?

Unreal ....

Never in my life did I expect this. I have been voting in presidential election since 1976 and always had a candidate I could eagerly vote for, whether the primaries or general election.

Well then, please tell us, why we should believe you are SO much smarter than Duncan Hunter?

What, exactly, is your area of foreign policy expertise?

Please give us some specific facts we can check.

Well, I suppose we have to play the cards we are dealt; but on this hand, I most likely will stay at home if McCain is nominated. RINO’s are almost worse than the real thing.

You should check on Huckabee's foreign policy experience, I believe it involves ONE trip to Mexico to bring the Foreign Consolute to Little Rock, which he leased to the Mexican Gov't for One dollar a year..so the illegals could get their Matricular Consular cards this side of the border.

Go ahead, and be my guest finding anymore "foreign policy" experience Mike has. We don't need to know about mine, but since you asked, I've lived overseas for over 15 years of my life.

If he were to back out of the race now, he would elevate his status considerably.

He has to know exactly what he is doing. He is now continuing to remain for the purpose of hurting Mitt and allowing a Democrat in Republican clothes who hates conservatives and Christians, to become the nominee!

By staying in this race, he is putting himself above this nation. He will be then, forever more in many people's eyes, the man that helped destroy the GOP!

I would be amazed if he did drop out.

An Appeal to Mike sure had drawn a lot of McCain supporters. What’s the correlation?

I've been called unChristian, anti-Baptist and some other worse names by Huckabee supporters, but no one has ever stooped so low as to call me a McCain supporter before. I hope I am misreading your post, cause those are fighting words.

The Paul people would NEVER EVER EVER vote for a guy who would force them to buy medical insurance.

Thanks. As a Paultard, I am watching this race with a mixture of detached amusement and sadness. You have a complete conservative sitting right in front of you who has went to the mat on everything conservatives hold dear.
