At least with a Democrat Leftist Administration, as opposed to a McCain Leftist with a GOP Label Administration, the Democrats would get all the political fall out of their disastrous political decisions and the GOP would unite in fighting them.

That is too much of a risk. You are asking everyone to assume the above hypothetical.

On the other hand, McCain's administration will have several competent conservatives, such as Ted Olson and Steve Calabriesi, who will pick the judges he will nominate. Hillary will NOT let Ted Olson pick judges for her.

With McCain Conservatives would get maybe 10%.

No, with McCain, we will get about 50-60% or even more. He will not back on the WOT, not back down on Iran, not back down against Putin, not back down on spending, appoint conservative judges and justices, govern as a pro-lifer, and at the same time, stay popular.

>>>McCain’s administration will have several competent conservatives, such as Ted Olson and Steve Calabriesi, who will pick the judges he will nominate.<<<

McCain also has as an advisor Warren Ruddman who gave us David Souter.

Here is a partial rebuttal...

1. McCain has already backed down on the WOT. He wants to close Guantanamo (and therefore try enemy combatants within our judicial system as if they were common criminals). And he opposes a tried and true method of interrogation (waterboarding) by making the ridiculous claim that it is torture. Someone needs to ask that nut why it is not okay for enemy combatants to be “tortured”, but okay for our own Special Forces (they are subjected to waterboarding during training).

2. There is no way McCain would nominate a true conservative to the bench since a true conservative would declare the McCain-Feingold legislation (aka, the Incumbent Protection Act) to be unconstitutional.

3. McCain supports embryonic stem cell research, and he tried to get a pro-life group silenced since they were at odds with his precious Incumbent Protection Act. Some pro-lifer...

4. McCain will stay popular as long as George Soros wants him to be popular, which will be no more than 5 minutes after he wins the nomination. Then the Soros Media will be after him like white on rice.

Almost forgot this one:

5. Not back down on spending? McCain has teamed up with yet another liberal to implement a massive government program to “deal” with the scam called global warming. Part of the bill requires a tax increase of 50c per gallon of gasoline. Since McCain loves to play class warfare (e.g., claiming Bush’s tax cuts as “Tax Cuts for the Rich”, he should be reminded that his new gasoline tax will be devastating on the poor. Of course, he will probably move to expand the already massive bureaucracy required to run this scam even further to provide gasoline tax credits for everyone but the “rich”.

5a. Not back down on spending? Do you realize that McCain teamed up with another liberal named Ted Kennedy for a bill to give amnesty for illegal immigrants that, if implemented, would result in massive spending increases at federal, state and local levels for decades to come?

The spending required by those two pieces of legislation would make earmarks look like nickel-dime stuff.
