Hope to stop McCain. Obviously that is what they are referencing.

They believe McCain is ever so much worse than Mitt. That is their given. Yours is obviously different.

So what?

I agree with those who believe that McCain is the worst possible candidate and a disaster waiting to happen, and yes, far more so than Mitt.

You don’t agree.

Surprise?

Not!

I don’t think Mitt would do as Mort suggested. Campaign like crazy for McCain was the first step. Doubt it. But the point I made was, if Mitt DID do that he would lose more from it than he would gain.

So 70% want someone other than McCain? And candidates to the Right of McCain.

"Gimme that old-time conservatism..."

If I'm sitting on the right side of the political spectrum, waaaay over to my left - just on the horizon - I can barely see McCain and Mitt right next to each other. From a conservative's vantage point they're virtually identical, and neither is worthy of a vote.

Remember the media's play in this.

A vast majority of this country stood against amnesty and all of a sudden, everyone has forgotten McCain's thoughts on this? I don't think so.

That is your opinion. Not mine, and not the people who said Mitt was the only one left offering hope.

You said hope for what, and I told you, stop McCain.

You don’t care what the answer is, you have your talking point that one is no worse than the other. That is subjective, and subject to differing conclusions.

The same is true about “neither are worthy of a vote”. You are talking about YOUR vote. Others can do with theirs as they see fit.

I noticed that Carl was trashing Fred non stop with cheap shot after cheap shot. I stop watching period after they were peddling pro=amnesty crap non stop a few months ago.
Which takes us full circle to why they are peddling Mcamesty. Rupert has an agenda too and it involves the need for cheap uneducated labor.

I never said otherwise. Each individual should do their own research, draw their conclusions, and vote their conscience.

I'm simply stating that this conservative finds it grimly amusing when folks get all excited about their liberal beating out the other liberal.

I will pray, but I can’t help feeling that the choice of two Democrats is somehow a decision by God to show us the foolishness of our ways.

The Lord might be saying it’s time for you to lose. It’s almost a judgment.

I’m getting ready for at least four years of Hitlery. Hope to God there’s a country left to contend for in 2012.

If she gets in it won't be for just 4 years. And the country we knew will be gone.

The biggest loser will be the US of A. It will be game, set, and match if the Dems or McCain gets into power. Read amnesty.

We (far too many ordinary Republicans plus far too many of those in high places) brought the choice on ourselves. I don’t say God couldn’t make something happen...of course he can. I don’t think he was needed here simply because what you said about the foolishness of our ways is enough to bring it about on its own.

A VOTE FOR HUCKABEE IS A VOTE FOR HUCKABEE!!

Huckabee - reliably pro-life, not recently pro-life.

Huckabee - reliably pro 2nd amendment, not recently 2nd amendment.
He understands that it is for self defense, not just hunting and sports.

He is an ardent, articulate supporter of the Fair Tax, and I believe he really “gets it”. It is the best hope on the horizon for giving power back to the people, and waking people up to the stranglehold the current tax system has on the people and the economy.

If Duncan Hunter believes he can be trusted on border/immigration and WOT issues, I would trust Duncan Hunter’s informed, educated judgment after he spent a year getting to know the candidates, than I would trust the opinion of any of the haters on here.

Don’t let the people who say he can’t be elected give us another self fulfilling prophecy of having to settle for someone we have to HOPE will do what he says. Right now it’s just name recognition, and when most people get to know Mike Huckabee, they like him.

They were both governors, but those people give Romney a pass for not being able to do what he “really” wanted, because he had a Democrat legislature to work with, when Huckabee was able to work successfully with his Democrat legislature.

Every vote for Mike Huckabee on Tuesday will be one more vote to show the establishment and the media that the election can’t be bought and we don’t to settle for “that’s the best we can get”.
