no when thompson was in it was clear as crystal he was directing people towards thompson.

you are not listening regularly.

If he is explicitly hitting mccain and giuliani and doing process of elimination then you are left with a logical conclsion.

It is not his job to think for you.

Well, I can't say that I heard every minute of his shows, but it was my impression that he is a closet Rudy lover. I think he felt he could get away with not endorsing Rudy and when the "inevitable" happened (Rudy's nomination), then Rush could say he's forced by circumstances to support Rudy.

Rudy was clearly the choice of the elitist wing of the party - Fox News, the Country Club set, etc. And Rush definitely fits in with that bunch.

For whatever reason, Rush DIDN'T endorse one of the two conservative candidates. He DIDN'T lift a finger for either of them. Now, when he sees that McCain and not Rudy seems "inevitable," Rush is whining.

I don't have any sympathy for him and I no longer have any respect for him. He's become part of the problem.
