One guy on another forum did a graphical analysis of the “banks helping banks helping reinsurers” circle jerk. Turned out there was a literal circularity, such that a bank was supposedly aiding another bank which in turn was helping a subsidiary of the first bank. This is such convoluted nonsense it makes me conclude the whole thing is just a PR confidence play and the institutions have no intention of actually going through with this. Sorry, I am not going to search through days of posts to find this again but that is the gist of it.
