The rats in the Miss government, or the ones that skitter around the kitchens of the restaraunts? The article notes two repub sponsors. And the rats that skitter around the kitchens would welcome every sort of patron (more food dropped on the floor and stocked in the storerooms), I’d think.

Baptists banning eating? No way.
To: mmichaels1970
It looks suspciously like an attempt to re-introduce a degree of racial segregation. Even if the bill should pass, the feds surely would block it.

They are going about it all wrong!
All they need to do is regulate the width of all the entrance doors to the restaurants and narrow them down to the desired size and that would do the job.
They could even put up a sign like "You must be at least this skinny to enter".
But I would think these "heavy" eaters would be among a restaurant's best customers. I would be drawn to a restaurant that advertised "All the fat people eat here"....and there's something about a skinny chef that makes me suspicious.

Now I don’t care who you are....that’s funny.
Was this introduced as a form of sarcasm, or was the sponsor serious???

Damn libs. Want to control all aspects of people’s lives.
To: mmichaels1970
That's the mentality of the modern American politician. Everything not banned is mandatory.
The United States Constitution was written to be an instrument which limited the power of government.
Pass the Charmin.

The exit polling data from the 2004 presidential race revealed that people want the social conservatism, but unfortunately they also want big government socialism.
The economic conservative is a dying breed. Leaves me feeling quite lonely.

Start a new one, call it the Construction Party or something. But start it now, get a candidate into the race, and build from there. Judging by the endless stream of establishment endorsements for McCain, the GOP is just too far gone to be saved.
