I am shocked that FoxNews would hire a conservative like Rove.

DemoKook heads exploding everywhere with this announcement...
This only fuels their conspiratorial attitude towards Fox news. They can point and say 'Look. We were right.'

I am shocked they would not. Fox News has a litmus test for talking heads they offer as conservative. If you want to be offered as a conservative on Fox News you have to be pro amnesty, Rove passes that test.
To: BreezyDog
...he’s going to break the news that McCain has been fooling everyone.... that he and McCain have met several times over the last few months and McCain has picked Rush to run as his running mate and they plan a Reagan like landslide come November.
No Amnesty
No withdrawal from Iraq or Afghanistan without total victory
No renewal of the tax cuts because they will be permanent
in fact expect a flat tax
No Socialized medicine
No more lobbyist
No more pay increases for Senators or Congressmen till they all sign on to cutting out all entitlements
No one cent being spent on the globull warming hoax
No location available in the United Sates for the UN
(that thumping sound you hear is liberals falling over with their eyes rolled back in the empty sculls)

I respect Rove for a lot of things. But he has not always been all that conservative. He was behind the push to install Arnie in California, after his effort to install Richard Riordan failed.
And he was behind a number of initiatives to support RINOs in primaries, including Specter and Lincoln Chaffee.
Some of those you could excuse as the best solution possible, but I think Chaffee was beyond the pale. I think Arnold was a huge mistake. And I think the failure to support Bill Simon was a huge mistake.
So, I think on the whole this is a good thing, but it’s still a mixed bag.
