He’ll be stopped by either Obama or Hillary, as soon as they decide who gets the nomination. I’m waiting for one of them to apologize for having to criticize McCain for having a senior moment.
Can someone get this transcript into the hands of the Romney Campaign? McCain is NUTS!!!
No wonder Ann Coulter said she’d vote for Hillary if McCain gets the nomination.
Is John McCain a war hero ?Served US Army 1958 - 1964 E5 SP-5
From Wiki.....
McCain was immediately offered a chance to return home early:[35] the North Vietnamese wanted a mercy-showing propaganda coup for the outside world, and a message that only privilege mattered that they could use against the other POWs.[39] McCain turned down the offer of repatriation due to the Code of Conduct of “first in, first out”: he would only accept the offer if every man taken in before him was released as well.[41] McCain’s refusal to be released was even remarked upon by North Vietnamese officials to U.S. envoy Averell Harriman at the ongoing Paris Peace Talks.[35]
Are you serious? McCain kept on rambling about Pat Robertson instead of answering any kind of questions.
gee maybe mccain decided he’s not a ventriloquist’s dummy. he obviously was trying to get a message out against the pat robertson attacks.
It baffles me.
In all fairness to the liberal McAmnesty, sounds like Reagan was trying to provoke him and make a name for himself.
Can’t blame him (Reagan). It’s a tough name to live up to.
I must say, just reading the transcript (not listening to it), it just sounds to me the McCain is stoutly standing up for a trusted friend. He doesn’t sound like a maniac.
wow....he argues even worse than I do.
There was zero provocation. All he did was mention Rudman's name in conjunction to a question about Supreme Court nominations and McCain went goofy on him. In fact, Reagan tried over and over again to change the subject to get McCain back on message, but McCain refused and kept going back to attacking Pat Robertson.
Except Reagan never attacked Rudman in any way, so why did McCain get so insanely defensive about it?
Thanks for the file. I received it and tried to post it to youtbe, but it was rejected because of format. Then I converted it to a mpeg file and it was still rejected. Then I converted it to an avi file and it was still rejected. May have to add the track to some pictures or something before they allow it to get posted. Probably try some more this weekend.
I saw it in this thread:

I don’t know what to make of it, but it is pretty serious if true.
“Source for the Nancy Reagan endorsement, please. Dont say it is Michael Medved because he said that Michael Reagan and Nancy Reagan endorsed McCain. I dont think so!!”
There was a blurb on Drudge that said that Nancy ‘adores’ McCain but wouldn’t make a public endorsement of him.

I doubt very seriously that Michael Reagan endorsed or would endorse McLame:
Michael Reagan: John McCain Hates Me

Until last night, when I watched the Republican debate, I had no idea how much John McCain dislikes me and just about everybody else but Rudy Giuliani, who if you believe The New York Times is a pretty good hater himself.
As I watched McCain and Governor Romney go at it during the debate at the Reagan Library I was struck by the huge gap that separates McCain — whose contempt for his fellow humans is patently obvious — and my dad, Ronald Reagan, who had nothing but the deepest affection and respect for the American people.
The feeling is mutual between McCain and me. I dont like the way he treats people. You get the impression that he thinks everybody is beneath him. He seems to be saying, I was a war hero, and you had damn well better treat me as your superior.
He has contempt for conservatives who he thinks can be duped into thinking hes one of them, despite such blatantly anti-conservative actions as his support for amnesty for illegal immigrants, his opposition to the Bush tax cuts which got the economy rolling again, and his campaign finance bill which skewed the political process and attacked free speech.

You need to provide a source for this endorsement.
Michael Reagan did not try to provoke him. I have the audio. Michael Reagan wanted to discuss the issues, McCain did not. Michael Reagan was indeed doing his job of asking questions of a presidential candidate. John McCain wanted to talk about what John McCain wanted to talk about and nothing else.
