DePaul Hospital 1959.
Where's your new job located?FYI: Ghent is to Norfolk as Israel is to the Middle East. Geographically of course. It's a paradise in the midst of chaos. I was born and raised in the Ghent of the 70's. The commute To and From Va Beach to Norfolk takes just minutes. The cost of living between the two are comparable. There is many more nice areas in Virginia Beach than in Norfolk. If you have any other questions I'd be happy to help.
And what kind of commute are you willing to do?
What are your projected living expectations?
You will do better to live where you play than live where you work.
Chicks Beach or the Great Neck area would be good choices. In addition to commuting to Norfolk on I-264 with everyone else, you can use the less crowded Shore Drive (U.S. Route 60) and Northampton Blvd. (U.S. Route 13) to get to Norfolk.
Although the Duck In, with its legendary Friday beach parties, passed into history, there is still a very active social scene along Shore Drive in the area.
You have easy access to Town Center, Hilltop, and the Oceanfront when you choose without having to live in the traffic that can plague all of them at various times.
We don’t smoke,
We don’t drink.
Norfolk!
Norfolk!
Hehehe...:)
