Huckabee's record is FAR more conservative than Romney's. And, he is absolutely the only one that could be trusted to nominate judges to the courts.
That’s major truth on the courts.
There is no questioning Huck’s social conservatism. But you can question the social and economic conservatism of Romney and McCain.
And for all the talk about Huck’s record on illegals, two points are being missed.
1. As governor, Romney didn’t do anything effective about the problem either, his state had several “Sanctuary Cities.”
2. The responsibilities of a state Governor are very, very different in regards to illegal immigration than that of a Federal President. You can’t predict actions of a candidate as a President solely off their actions as a governor, it’s apples and oragnges.
If you look at Romney’s alleged economic achievements as governor, they are almost all single year achievements. When you look at the record overall, you see very paltry, and in many cases below average, results. And the economic potential of Mass. is far greater than Arkansas.
Also, it was telling that Romney was the most popular candidate by far in the most liberal states.
