Srooy, J.R., but you have lost your mind. Goodbye, it was nice while it lasted.

In a race with no unarguable conservatives left in the race, we should be kinder to each other. We all are making some sub-optimal choice. Vote McCain (amnesty). Vote Romney (appointed homosexual activists judges). Vote Huckabee (raised taxes). Don’t vote (let the Dems have the country in the middle of a war and appoint 2 or 3 S.Ct. justices). We can all slam the others choice, but there is no “pure” conservative option left anymore. I’m with Robinson; the only hope for a unifying conservative nominee is an incredible long shot of a contested convention where the party operatives and workers as delegates sieze control and nominate a true conservative. Why not go with the only shot we have?
“In a race with no unarguable conservatives left in the race, we should be kinder to each other.”
I agree, good to keep in mind, but your bashing and attacks on Romney were anything *but* that.
“only hope for a unifying conservative nominee is an incredible long shot of a contested convention “
Sorry wont happen, and chasing that dream via Huck will only make McCain more inevitable. If there is not a single consensus conservative candidate alternative to John proamnesty McCain, McCain wins. Period.
McCain has rolled enough of the endorsement, mo’ and money to stay on top. Romney would have a tough row to hoe even if Huck dropped out. With Huck in, McCain is 100% assured of nomination.
